CURRICULUM/ROTATIONS BY YEAR

The Reading Hospital General Surgery Residency Program curriculum was developed to immerse trainees in the core areas of General Surgery at different levels of training. This creates a continuum of skill development with advancing years of training. Fifty-seven of the sixty months of training are spent at the home base, Reading Hospital. Three months are spent at St. Christopher’s highly quality partner to gain meaningful exposure for Pediatric Surgery. This curriculum will give trainees the opportunity to be well trained, either to pursue practice or additional fellowship training.
